I'd say healthcare (specialist doctors, surgeons), mining and resources, engineering, IT, and finance top the list. Marketing is also pretty important but generally doesn’t pay as high as in the US, especially outside major cities.
The bigger question here is: is your health more important than money or lifestyle? You can make a good income in Australia in marketing, depending on you experience. Australia is a good place to find balance between both career and health.
Marketing definitely doesn’t have the same $$ in Aus as the US - esp if you’ve been working in tech or industries that have been throwing money at people recently. You can try go for a position in the Aus arm of a US company - they pay way more and often have similar benefits to the US which you don’t get in a normal Aus company (eg healthcare). However I’d say in general a lot of white collar jobs will pay less than the US and you just need to accept and work with that.
If you are moving from the US to AUS and expecting to make more/same money then you are going to be disappointed. It just doesn't happen when moving US to AUS...
If however you are moving to have a better work life balance and a comparable lifestyle you'll be fine (yes AUS salaries are lower than many US salaries, but the overall lifestyle is better so you need less to generate the same level of inner happiness and enjoyment)
