Any mass hiring happening for freshers??????
Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Can anyone help me with the same Tata ConsultancyAccentureDeloitteZS AssociatesInfosysSalesforceSalesforceAmazonMicrosoft

Long time agency Account Manager here. Congrats on getting your first candidate offer! Unfortunately with the market right now, this is a common occurrence. You will experience this again and then some. Many will have competing offers from multiple firms as well, and you’ll be stuck with the client that won’t budge on salary and you’ll therefore lose the candidate. Recruiting is a numbers game!
Regarding your situation, you should advise your candidate of the risk and downsides of taking a counter-offer from a current employer. Rarely is it just about money, but also, if the employer was so quick to counter, shouldn’t they have been more proactive about paying the candidate what they’re worth to begin with? Additionally, trust is often lost between the employer / employee and this can potentially hurt the employee in the long run.
Unless the counter is significantly above the new offer and/or the candidate feels there is ZERO risk or downside, the candidate should strongly consider the downsides of staying with an employer they just told they’re quitting…
Thank you so much for your advice!! Fortunately, I was able to give 5K more than the initial offer and the candidate has decided to take it with a clean slate.
