Friends, I have 11+ years of experience and have been selected for a L5 Non Tech PM role. Amazon is offering me 24 base + 8 SB + 200 RSUs. I will have to relocate to South India (from Delhi) for this and probably the offer may not cater to my expenses. AM I BEING LOW BALLED ? as the HR says this is the max capping for the role.Amazon Amazon India Also, how difficult is it to apply internally and clear a L6 interview (after i join Amazon)

Really lowballed me
I figured… it’s IPG after all (I’ve worked for various IPG agencies in the past)
We won a couple big accounts so we’re growing. We’re in that stage where people are switching guards. New faces in the agency while others who’ve been there for a bit are finding other opportunities. I think it’s a good place to come work. The strategy is important here and (for me at least) I get to work closely to the creatives.
HR is not on your side lol basically internal PR people
Trust me, you deserve better than what FCB NY has to offer right now. Awards aren’t everything—and many of the people on those big, shiny accounts are burned out, underpaid, and deeply unhappy. The agency is great at selling a dream, but the reality often doesn't live up to it.
The culture has drastically shifted in the last couple of years. What once felt like a creative, inspiring space now feels more like a cult. I genuinely encourage you to connect with folks who’ve recently left—many of them will tell you the same. The environment has become toxic, and there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes drama, including inappropriate workplace behavior that happens across all levels.
It might look glamorous from the outside, but once you're in, the cracks start to show. You deserve a place where your talent is nurtured, respected, and fairly compensated. Keep looking—you’ll find somewhere that aligns with your worth.
Just like Gut
Really lowballed me, and shamed me when I talked about salary expectations
Why are you hesitant because of a merger? Genuinely asking
not that dramatic but yes, organizationally lots of changes & redundancies
Nothing great happening there. What exactly are you trying to find out?
Not the most desirable place imho but credit where it’s due: they’ve been consistently at or near the top in most creative rankings the past few years.
you could look at today’s stock price for IPG, (compare to Publicis Groupe just to have a reference), & there’s your answer.
