I've been on a reading kick late, sometimes with paper books (still love 'em) but also on a tablet, using Hoopla (gotta love the public library). Over the weekend I was reading a book of transcripts of presentations by Warren Buffett and his partner Charlie Munger. It's far more fascinating than I would have expected, the ideas they expressed were often more about human nature and psychology than investing.
I try to go on walks, listening to podcasts or music. Also clear my mind playing basketball or moving my body. Ultimately though, I do a lot of doomscrolling too despite my best attempts to avoid it.
work out! even if you dont feel like i.t definitely no screen time especially if you are doing an intense cardio day. other than that, journaling helps a lot too. these are 2 huge no screen activities that i like to partake in so im not on a screen after being in front of screens all day.
Honestly, same, my default is more screens. Lately I’ve been doing “low‑stakes” screen stuff at night (cozy YouTube, trash TV) and pairing it with something tactile like a hot drink or a candle so it still feels a bit different from work mode.

I read books on a Kindle (screen).
Play video games on Meta Quest and Xbox (more screens).
I’m an ex-swimmer, so I hit the pool 2-3 days/wk.
Yoga if I can and reading a physical book
