While I’m sure he’s qualified, a 9 month process interviewing 100+ people for your head of strategy sounds like you’re a nightmare place to work. I want to believe they were respectful of people and let people know right away if they weren’t advancing, but in this industry, that’s too uncommon.

I traditionally was brought up in my career where PM type tasks were handled by lower level AMs. I have observed separating AM and PM tasks into two separate departments just causes communication issues and lazy account people.
