Never attended but my some of friends are going this year and they're pretty excited. What’s the vibe like at roots picnic? I see the lineup is stacked.
It was good. Weather was great. No one did anything crazy which is always a blessing these days. Music was good, vibe was good. Everything there was very overpriced and crowded but I guess that’s true of most concerts and festivals.
Haven't been in a few years, but it's a laid back and fun vibe. Attracts a diverse audience of folks of all styles that just love music.
I agree MM. This was the first time I’ve ever been to it. It was fun for the experience but I don’t know that I’d want to do it again. And yes everything was so overpriced.
Rising Star
I used to go before the pandemic and enjoyed it. If you like festivals, it’s fun, but it’s also not as convenient as going to a festival on designated festival grounds where they have actual bathrooms and not port-a-potties.
I also attended pre covid and enjoyed it for all the reasons listed above
