So they don’t have to offer benefits like health insurance…smh
But with availability of data that could be narrowed down. Outside of the department heads, we’re getting 4-8 hours a week. The only way to get more is by a call that you’re needed immediately (hard to do) or to get an unwanted shift (also hard to do). So few hours don’t benefit the customers either.
Bc some days you need more bodies in the building than others, thus you dont need 10 full time employess, but you do need 15 part timers

No overtime and especially because they don’t have to pay them benefits (insurance, holiday pay, PTO accrues slower, etc). That costs the employer a lot, a cost they’ll happily save with by hiring a bunch of part time people
Because then they’d have to provide insurance
