Why are HR people so rude? If you don't answer their call immediately, they never pick up the phone again, as if we are their personal assistants. A person might be busy in a meeting, which is why they couldn't answer the call, but look at their attitude.

They have only one job to do and that is "We will get back to you or to ghost the candidate" .

As an HR “NO”!
All recruiters have their deadlines to close the roles some are way too tight to even handle practically. So if you are not getting a call back, you can assume that they had to call another candidate because you didn’t pick. And it worked out with them and they will now throw that candidate at the hiring managers face and relax for a min or two before burning the f out again

As if engineers do not have deadlines but we don’t go around throwing wt like then

They are not rude ...they are incompetent and lazy

Don't generalize based on job titles without knowing the person and their job. While it might be true for you, not all HRs are the same, it varies by individual. If you have a friend in HR, ask them this question to understand possible reasons.

All HR are same
