Why are NJ and other commuters paying for NY trains?? Congestion pricing... How does this make sense?

It’s worse than just saying we have to pay for their train system. At this point, none of the revenue will be given to PATH or NJ Transit, which will be forced to handle more riders. (The only way to argue against that fact would be to say people who drive into nyc will simply not go into the city anymore; cut down on commuters who work in NYC, and we all know that’s not the intent.) So like most tax and spend solutions, the pols will turn a blind eye, then express shock when the “unforeseen” consequences all come to fruition. Massive overcrowding on NJT, delays at NYPenn unlike ever seen before, more calls for a new tunnel, etc etc.

My client put all global employees on furlough for a month but is still keeping our consulting project going without pause. I feel very thankful ofc but does that not come off kind of weird that they’re prioritizing our project over their own employees?

There seems to be a pay gap between generalist CSP and digital/QB/mdl. Also career progression is much slower and “exit” into technical roles works very differently. What keeps you at the firm?
