Currently at SA2B looking to move to whichever will give me an increase in salary. I’m assuming SA3? I have 2 snapshots (2 next level 3 partial) both done at the same time one “continue in comments"
Finished S3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel last night. That show made me want to move to NYC just to go to the diners and get those massive pastrami and cornbeef sandwiches. How do you all stay skinny?
Do Managers really work less than Seniors? Is life better once you make it to that level? People keep telling me that things get better once I make Manager so they encourage me to stay the course.
My husband is a frontline worker (ER physician) who worked during the “height” of the pandemic here in New York. He contracted COVID earlier this month and is dealing with some form of PTSD. He wants to leave the city pretty immediately to buy a house in the burbs. I don’t want to argue or call it a rash decision so I’m just going with it. Anyone have experience breaking their lease? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We had just signed a 24 month lease in Jan. Thanks!
Currently msging with 3 guys trying to line up dates this weekend, but I'm flying home late Fri night & flying out 6am Mon. Not enough time!! How do others deal with the scheduling crunch from travel?
Is anyone considering getting out of the city to stay with parents/family/friends? Sounds extreme at this point but I don’t want to wait until it’s too late to leave
Has anyone hired a career coach? What was the reason you hired one and at what point in your career? Any recommendations? What can be considered as reasonable fees for a career coach?
Is it healthy for a Senior Manager to reach out to your other managers - not to ask how you’re doing in your other engagements, but telling them that you sucked in his engagement?
I know this is silly and I should just be so happy to be having a baby, but just found out that I’ll be having a second boy (and this is likely my last baby—plus I’d be scared to have a third boy)...
