Wiife got a new job in Delhi (okhla 3) and is planning for us to relocate from Bangalore. After living here for years, I am not keen to go to Delhi - concerned about rising pollution, general safety and overall quality of life (considering we both are liberal non-practicing muslims). Neither of us look the part 😅 and never faced any challenges in Bangalore but I am extremely concerned with this step.
Can anyone suggest some calm and posh Delhi localities where we could rent an apartment?

Dyslexia! After having our kindergartener son tested (privately) related to ADHD, we were told he may have dyslexia too (which would explain why he struggles so much with phonics but is amazing at sight words). He has a very high IQ. As a voracious reader, I am finding myself unexpectedly distraught that something that I have loved so much will be such a struggle for him, and worrying that it will affect his motivation and may steer him away from things he may otherwise love.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

Does anyone use their private car to drive to work from hebbal, thanisandra or places that are 20kms away? It may be an absurd question to ask considering the Bangalore traffic, but still checking if there's anybody driving down that distance?

Can anyone tell me what areas along purple line metro are the best to live in? My new workplace is near cubbon park and i have no idea about central Bangalore, or it even is central. I was thinking to get there using the metro line.
