Wish I was more excited for 2025 :/. I'm usually always pumped during this time of the year while we're approaching a new year. I would think about goals, aims, and travel bucket lists. This year I don't seem to have much zeal around it. Mind sharing what you're excited about or what your plans are for the next year? Like real girl talk :) I could use a boost and some inspiration right now.

My goals for 2025 are very aligned to personal life. I'm done aiming for higher and higher at work. And I'm content with where I am in my career. I want to eat more home-cooked meals, I want to watch my movement and my mind space better than I have in the last few years in 2025. Those are my goals right there :)

Kind of in the same space tbh. Feels good to know it isn't just me!

I like this!
Work related:
1) be more present for my team, I plan to take one person to lunch every week for some one on one time
2) help develop and support my sales team further this year

Personal goals
1) lose 25 lbs and just get back to better habits. A few years ago I lost 40 lbs and got a little lazy and gained some back so I want to get back into a disciplines workout routine and clean up mu eating. I’m actually excited about this one because when my workouts were disciplined I was in a great headspace too and want that back. It really positively effected other parts of my life too
2) pay down debt. I have been loose with spending the last 2 years and now I regret it :(

This is so amazing! It really inspired me. it's what I was looking for when I posted this. Thanks DOP2. And good luck with it all <3

I’m trying to be more positive going into 2025 and I saw a thing where you pick a word for the year and chose growth.
- growth in my career cause I’m feeling pretty stagnant atm
- growth in my friendships by trying to be better in reaching out and hanging out
- trying to keep learning instead of being happy with my current knowledge and skill set
- new hobbies that lead me outdoors cause wellness growth or some type of jazz

I’m unsure if I’ll keep it up but I’m happy with the idea of being better than I currently am lol plus I’m trying to journal daily to keep some form of accountability

I feel so uncertain with the what will unfold in the world around us in the coming years- I’m devoting this year inward, being reflective of myself and generous with the love and peace I can manifest internally.

Love that for you! Thanks for sharing.

I honestly lost a lot of investments in 2022 and since then I kinda lost all my mojo. I too do not aim too high but I am grateful for my life that I built with my bf and my birblings. I have a very simple relaxed life and I think I should be more thankful. So I practice being more grateful more thankful more positive. I also try to be a better person, I learnt to move on from negative experiences so fast and see it as waves they come I observe them and I let them go. I dont hold on to them anymore I kinda am numb at this point. I just let everyone and everything be. I guess I am just getting older so I have less energy to invest but more focused energy.

May you use your focused energy for all the best things. Wishing you peace, love and things to be grateful for in 2025!

Letting go of bad habits, I have at least 3 I’m committed to dropping. And being more spontaneous. Starting tonight me and my husband just decided to take the train up NYC WATCH the ball drop and return back to DC in the morning.
