Go to an old school department store, like Macy’s. Anne Klein, Calvin Klein, and Tahari make reasonable quality suits that are reasonably priced.
Agree that Quince’s washable silk blouses are great, including if you have a fuller chest. (which can be tricky)
Those old schools brands that make suits often have sheath dresses and blouses that pair well with said suits!
Quince washable silk - blouses, dresses, etc. they also have good button down and cashmere shirts and sweaters, etc.

I am totally hooked on all of this at Quince.
Nordstrom Rack saved me as an Associate. I found so many high quality brands on clearance. Many of these clothes I still wear today because they have held up. Brands like Anne Klein, Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein, Maggy London & Donna Morgan I find I don't have to get altered to fit. My weight tends to fluctuate so it's a huge benefit. Also, I love jackets by Amanda + Chelsea.
Vince and Theory, MM Lafleur for dresses
Another vote for Vince and Theory. Theory’s silk button ups and blouses are amazing.
Ann Taylor
