Would you consider working for ICE? I've been looking for a job for months and I'm considering signing up. How bad could it be?

I can't think of a situation where I would be desperate enough to work for ICE.

ICE arrested and deported a 6-year-old who was in the country for cancer treatments a few weeks ago. Safe to say it can be pretty bad. If you can handle having that sort of thing on your conscience, go for it. I'd rather be unemployed.

Just a correction: Europe does allow that, unfortunately. The whole West is going down the gutters with this unchecked migration crisis.

Not enough money in the world. I know ice is now the best funded government agency in the country if not the planet. However, I don’t want a paycheck bad enough to be that horrible of a person.

Don’t listen to the haters ICE is doing their job and an honorable one at that. It’s not their fault that the witty predecessor allowed millions to come in illegally and now someone is holding the illegals accountable. We are a sovereign nation. It’s an honest job you can work there and transfer into another agency in the government. I don’t care what these others are saying. Anyone that is here illegally, raping and killing US Citizens need to go period. I know a few months there was a hiring bonus as well.

Crazy is the ones coming in illegally have raped and killed in their own countries first so letting them into our country is asinine. This is coming from a black woman. It’s sad how so many men in this country have gotten so soft on crime. The rapist shouldn’t be able to garner support from citizens in this country mate or female for that matter. When they show law enforcement pick these criminals up you see men and women throwing themselves in front of police fighting for these psychos - it’s nauseating.

I looked into it but didn’t qualify. I wouldn’t have any issues throwing non-us citizens out of the country

I’m deleting this app after reading this post. Waaaaay too political and biassed, I feel like I’m on twitter.

You should take the job if you need one, you will be an important part of society and you will support your family.

Don’t listen to idiots who think the news should dictate their families security.

Wow now upholding the law and sovereignty of our country is racist. My how things have changed.

Literally some of the worst people I’ve seen get separated from the military end up there sooooo do with that what you will.

I am not racist enough to ever consider working for ICE.

People in the comments telling you to not do this or that. But , you know you must put a roof over your head and food on the table. Make it happen.

I'm sure it's easy so long as you have no soul or conscience

No Fing way. And that goes for a lot of other agenices these days. I know it's tough, but working at DHS is out of the question. I turned down an opportunity to interview at FAA because it was at the exec level and I'm not working for a Real World reject. Yes, it's tough, but at some point, it's where do you draw the line. ICE is an easy line to draw for me.

I’ve actually looked into employment opportunities with ICE. The best positions are located in California. One of them paid only $25 an hour. I would never move across the USA for a mere $25 an hour. That can barely pay for food in California. Average rent in California could be $3K-$4K a month.

For 🐠🐟 that live in the Circle C area, is there really a difference between Circle C proper vs. the surrounding neighborhoods (e.g. Circle C North)? Or are we basically just paying a premium for the name?

(We're waiting for prices to come down like a lot of people here, and the hubs is very focused on being within Circle C proper 😮‍💨.)

What are some things you guys wish you knew before you started your NetSuite implementation?

I’m at a small company that’s sort of becoming medium sized, and a new exec pushing to quickly implement NetSuite and I just want to make sure we’re not getting in over our heads, he’s trying to get this done within two months

We currently use Salesforce, quick books, and excel, we’ll be consolidating a lot of accounting and finance stuff into netsuite and integrating it with Salesforce
