I mean, pre-covid 5 days in person was the norm across most of white collar America... 🤷
Depends entirely on commute
Not really.
Bruh why would you do that. Take out the travel related expenses (food, gas, train) and you’re back to square 1
This is the consulting bowl and you’re discussing 40 hour work weeks and no travel? What company couod you possibly be talking about?
Haha I’m at EY and I’ve barely traveled the past 2 years, like 3-5 weeks of travel.
I’m literally turning down a $200k increase because of a 4-day in-office policy. (It’s also variable)

What is I going to cost in gas and wear and tear, to commute?
How much will the food costs be?
What are your opportunity costs? As in what are you going to miss out on losing that remote position? Time with family? Workout time? Attending your kids games?

No
Hell no

Panera?
Do you enjoy your work? There’s a lot I would do for a company and role that u really enjoyed. There’s also very little I would do for a company and role that I took just for the pay.
Depends on the commute, but I’d probably take anyways
What’s that like $12k net? I spend that on one vacation to Asia. Hell no not worth it to give up an entire year of remote freedom. 😂. Being remote is almost like early retirement.
