Thought I will update this thread.
Got admission for a doctorate of business administration (DBA). It gives me the flexibility to work and study at the same time and I also have an MBA.
Don't know about non-STEM programs but STEM programs are always fully funded and can be done only full time. Btw, 5th year chemistry student here.
Start with good schools from your area of study and then narrow down to those that allow you to study part time. Plenty of schools have a part-time option but it isn't something that is formally advertised. You just take fewer credits.
Is there a website one can use to narrow down the search? I appreciate your response 👍
I’m currently doing my PhD part time, best advice I can give is, chose your supervisor(s), not school. Supervisors make up 90% of a PhD experience especially when you have a full time job on the side. Find someone who’s supportive, or better, been there themselves. Might take an extra 3 month to find a good supervisor, but it will make your experience significantly better during the next five years
Looks like I will be going the route if DBA . Fully funded sounds great 👍
