Currently working as a process engineer in switzerland (south east). Salarys and Rent are Medium High. Current salary around 80k. Trying to switch to sales (same company). Had a talk with the teamleader. He talked about the job and told me that they were actually looking for a junior sales (and some product management responsibilities ). That they are looking for a junior isn't to bad, because i have no experience in sales (customer contact yes, but no sales) What salary can i expect?

Just wondering what opportunities are there for junior to mid career professionals in US international tax to work abroad in UK or Australia? Is there a need for US tax professionals there (i.e. Big 4s or in house) or would one need to learn the local tax laws and would that learning be relatively "easier" given existing background in US tax. I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant. All I've wanted for myself was a big loving family to call my own.. my parents are unaccepting of my sexuality & my partners family is also quite fucked up so she's isn't super close to them either. Honestly this sucks & it feels like I'll never have a huge supportive family I've wanted & craved for.

Just got moved into 6th grade math for the upcoming year! I’m feeling big nervous excitement ! 😁😁

I finally was able to convince my principal that we need a consistent math intervention at the MS level (grades 5-8). (Right now, we are just "doing our own thing," which isn't helping students progress much.) Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be beneficial to have some sort of progress monitoring tool as part of the program, if possible. Our classes run roughly 55 minutes (which is too long for an intervention, in my humble opinion).

Does anyone else have to wait until they have all assignments turned in for the day to start grading? I have Geom classes in the a.m. and p.m. and my OCD doesn’t let me grade as they are turned in.

What’s your opinion on math homework? I teach 4th grade and have always given it but I’d like to see what others do and weigh out if it’s really worth it. If I give it, I feel like I should spend class time going over it but on the other hand I stress myself out trying to keep the absent work organized and those that don’t even do the work.

I found using GoFormative’s free version to be very helpful in teaching new topics to my students. I embed videos I make demonstrating how to complete a question, next I ask them to complete an example showing work, and then the next question they type their answer so it automatically alerts them to see if they answered correctly. It can be used live in a meet and on an independent virtual day. In my google meets, I’m able to give feedback on any question they have trouble with in real time.

I have students that need to make up a missing test. I want to keep the integrity and validity of a test.
Any suggestions??
