If someone signed a general property damage release in CA, can they still get recovery with a diminished value claim? A diminished value claim was submitted but was denied by farmers insurance bc the PD release was already signed. The release that was signed was really only for extra rental expenses. 3rd party insurance paid the other insurance company for the property damage. How could you challenge their denial to get paid for the diminished value of the car?
