I have received an offer in TCS accepted it and submitted the documents for BGC. The CTC i mentioned is 13L in iBegin portal and uploaded the same recent hike letter. But my current company retracted my offer of 13L and salary/payslip are with old offer and i have submitted documents with new offer letter which is 13L. Yep sounds about right for 1st year associates. Is it fair? No.
I made $50k as a PI associate in Atlanta my first year (2021). My comp felt so low then but has since doubled based on recovery. I don’t know that it’s fair but I do think it’s within the normal range for PI, and lots of room to grow
I’m in south florida and my base was $60k as a 1st year. It was a struggle but I got a $15k bump at my year end review….now I’ve brought in 7 cases on my own and when those settle I’ll be getting a 35% origination fee on those.

What is the bonus structure? If there isn’t one, I think this is definitely low for Chicago, but first year PI attorneys are generally not making any money for the firm, hence why the salaries are low.
Do you get a cut of settlements. Unfortunately seems standard for plaintiffs work
