How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.
Would you rock these?

hahaha, things like that make me want to have a child.
Same, but then I think about the time commitment, the massive costs, the crying and the kicking and the fussing, the stress on your relationship, and then I forget why I even thought it was a good idea haha, Maybe one day though...
The capacity for imagination and freedom to create was what made me become an engineer, my parents always allowed me to create things to my liking, they help me on many occasions and they allowed me to help them too, which made me lean towards this career and love it. so much of what I do
I'm sorry you described me with that comment, I've loved animals since I was a child but at the same time, I was afraid of them so what I did was look for ways to get closer to them without them hurting me, once I made myself a cardboard armor to play with my dog.
It seems to me that this comment is missing a photo hahaha, I would have loved to see it live that must be viral material.
I congratulate you for allowing your child to do those things, fostering creativity is the only thing that can save the new generations.
I have another curious invention of a 5-year-old boy, my daughter wanted to help her sister with a science project so that he would have more time to play, so what she did was search Google for science projects for a 5-year-old girl, She made a small volcano with vinegar and baking soda and a little dressing for the color, she did all of this by herself, of course with my supervision, but after all, she was motivated by giving her sister help, it was something wonderful to experience.
