What is your socioeconomic background and how much NW do you consider “enough” to be able to live comfortably?

What’s the deal with RFPs? I’ve spent countless [non-billable] hours on several of them only to find out that I’m not included in the actual proposal (the document sent to the client showcasing the proposed case team). Is this normal?

Is the marginal value of a second clerkship truly worth the opportunity cost? Is the first? Obviously SCOTUS is a different story, but what's wrong with doing one district or one appellate only?

Any insights on 2-3 year associate salaries at Ogletree and Fox Rothschild in NJ?

Partners with kids and a working spouse, how do you manage? Is it realistic for both people in the relationship to work full time long term? How do you keep marriage going and career progressing?

Recommendations on an exceptional career coach who can help my husband? He works with his brother at a startup his brother founded (my husband is in-house counsel) but often finds himself belittled by his brother, cut out of conference calls and emails and generally feeling like he has no skills. He's an ivy league graduate and went to a great law school but for many reasons cannot leave this job right now. Looking for someone to help w/his confidence level and ways to approach his brother. If you’re not buying MGNI, idk what to tell you ... $11->$18.6 in a week and MktCap is still 2.1Bn. P/S is 5, and it has room to grow for a MktCap of 5Bn based on competitors. Just putting that out there
