I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Background: got a promotion at current company that didn't come with sufficient increase . After stating my case I was told it would be evaluated next October, which is what prompted the initial job search.

Current TC 103K [88/15], offer 125k base [+discretionary bonus].

Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.
