I loved the show, except the colorism where the matchmaker refers to light-skinned as a prettier and more desirable. In 2020 you shouldn’t show kids growing up that white skin is the goal for beauty.
Colorism runs deep in Indian culture. Yep While they could have adjusted to storyline it wouldn’t have resonated as true.

I cannot be convinced that Pradhyuman is into women. He’s wasting everybody’s time by not living his truth.

“I cannot be convinced!!” Hope he eventually finds what he’s looking for

Honestly the best thing about this show is watching all the babaji and auntieji at the start of each episode talk about their marriage

They kind of did that in the last episode! But yes quite adorable
Was it Aparna?? I thought she is a tough nut to crack :-)
Love that show. Aparna is way too picky. She seems to walk through life as if she’s perfect and that the men she’s meeting need to come up to her level of perfection.
I hope I don’t have to ever deal with an Aparna in my life
Yes I watched whole season ! Interesting season

I’m currently binging as we speak haha
Where to watch?
Netflix- it’s called Indian matchmaking

I liked the season and all the asks people have for match maker - she is super level headed though w all the connections she built.
She knows what people like broadly so based on person the opportunities might be high - if I am not tall I cannot feel bad about someone having genuinely better chances ..
As with any "reality" show, the casting is key but what makes the show is the writing/producing. It's impressive that the production hired writers who understand the nuances of the culture and matchmaking experiences.
Haha my wife and I just finished. I wish they were conclusive though! With the beautiful Indian wedding and all!
I also liked how people who are unsure of marriage also end up in one. Akshay - mamas boy

I think that was all for the cameras, though. If you Google him you'll find out what happened afterwards.
It’s such a good show! Only thing that annoyed me is that they didn’t show the outcome of the matches. Did Aparna keep that guy or not? Inquiring minds want to know.

Really? Even Nadia and Shekar? Was really rooting for them 😕
