I gave a potential employer an expected comp, then found out the average range was higher. I am anticipating an offer but have not received one yet, should I tell the recruiter I have a new expectation or wait to counter?

I was offered X$ as a salary for a supervisor role. I asked for 10k more as a counter and received a greater breakdown of the correct pay being offered. With bonuses and shift diff it comes to maybe 5k more. That is only if the bonuses and overtime bonuses kick in. Do I still go with my original counter? This is very confusing for me.

I gave interview in EY thinking its product based but just came to know its service based. Please advise whether I should go for Eurofins as its a product based or EY as its a better offer. Should a DevOps Cloud Engineer with 2 years experience earning around 10 LPA (base salary) in a Fortune 200, switch to a startup which pays almost 20 LPA base salary?
The reason to ask this question is, wouldn't it be difficult at the time of second switch, to move to another big organisation after one is already at 20-24 LPA with just 3-4 years of experience at a startup?

Since I have interest in devops, I thought of moving into devops and also ppl says that devops have good future.
I agreed but I have a doubt here, whatever the scope u have in devops, in future if I want to change job, the organisation is going to fix the salary based my current package at that time right? Then what is mean scope is good in future??
