I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

I’ve made a lot of mistakes so taking a step back to refocus.

1. Do not Fomo
2. Take losses early instead of having entire position go to Zero
3. Personally - never gamble on weekly lottos. Too risky and got burned both ways (sold
Early and held too long)

Should I buy nyc real estate?

I’m 24, have no debt, and currently TC is 150k. Currently, I have 110k in savings + 401k and just started to get into investing. By June 2021, I’ll have at least 150k from savings, 401k, etc. I just got started investing this month in the stock market but now I’m thinking about real estate. There are condos in JC and brooklyn for 400k which doesn’t seem too bad but dont know if I’m being way unrealistic. I’d appreciate any advice!

401k loan for first house. Taking $20k to go towards down payment and closing costs. Option 1 is a “personal loan” with up to 72 month payback. Option 2 is “home loan” up to 30 years. With the monthly payments, I lean towards Option 1. Any cons to this other than it impacting my DTI when they see these debt payments on bank statements for mortgage pre-approval? I plan on having the loan sit in savings to “season” for a few months. Does this make sense? I appreciate insight! ☺️

Hi all!

I’m a mid-level B2B marketing leader looking for new opportunities due to a shift in culture at my current company.

Although I am well versed across marketing categories, my main focus over the past few years has been on ABM, pipeline growth, and aligning sales and marketing. I also have experience in both early stage and Series C high-growth startups as well as global companies.

If you know of an opportunity that might be a good fit, I’d love to have a conversation!

How long did you stay at one place as a junior before leaving? Nothing is wrong with my current job, I just got approached with another opportunity that seems exciting.

Med risk: Feb 20P/17.5P = 0.25 cost for max return of 2.25
High risk: Feb 15P/12.5P = 0.1 cost for max return of 2.40
