Wrote this on the other SHOP post that got deleted -

Fundamentally strong. I remember listening to their How I Built This podcast a couple years back - they’re essentially recession proof. They did well through the financial crisis because people try to become entrepreneurs in bad economic times when they’re laid off (i.e., they start e-comm stores)

I think they’re a solid long term hold but up 85% in a month scares me, so don’t plan on touching it.

not bc but i feel like it will keep going up and drop after earnings so maybe after 5/06. i’ve read that a lot of small-medium sized businesses on the platform are killing their earnings.

I bought 3 when it was 339. Regretted not gettin more. Bought 10 yesterday in the AM only to be yelled at by my wife and then sold them later in the day. Glad I did so. I think a bit overpriced but solid medium to long term.

How do real estate lenders take cash flow into consideration? For example, typically I would probably only be approved for a $500k loan ($125k comp and $100k for down payment), but if I’m buying a multi-family home and planning to live in a unit and rent the others, will lenders approve a bigger loan?
