A friend of mine recently shared how networking really changed their career. They started attending industry events and made some great connections that led to new opportunities. It got me thinking about how important it is to put ourselves out there! Has anyone else had a similar experience? Would love to hear your stories!

Hi Fellow Testers(Automation, Manual, SDET)

Please post your current package, yoe, and tech/tool that you use, company if its okay. Want to see where does this career path lead to and different techs.

Licensed in LA, moving to IL, Employment Agreement is with the US sub (DE) of a foreign company (Canada), where both the sub and parent are fully remote companies with 0 physical offices. Two questions: 1) Am I required by IL or DE to apply for a limited in-house license? 2) Has anyone heard of similar situations where the atty got popped for UPL? I’m in tech transactions and would not go to court in this role or represent the company outside of contract negotiations.

Question: I have a client who started a restaurant. He leased the land and bought shipping containers where he spent money contracting out to turn them into bars. I’m having a tough time determining how to depreciate this! First thought was leasehold but he’s not making improvements to a structure...he owns the structure! But nonresidential real estate at 27.5 years doesn’t make sense either as it’s not a brick and mortar building. Curious on others thoughts! TIA
