Completed PhD recently ; 9 YoE after MBA

I've recently been going for my masters since it was the amount of extra credits I needed to sit for my cpa. Now im questioning if cpa is worth the effort. Does masters count for anything or do people only care about cpa amd is it worth it to get?

Why do you think ZS canceled the internship for the '23 batch? AFAIK they did not do this even during the pandemic. Are the full-time campus placement offers also in danger of being revoked?

Where does ZS offer MBA program as part of advanced career programme and how much amount is sponsored by ZS? And after how many months post working with ZS one will be eligible for it ?

About to join a startup in a Head of People & Culture position (currently 50 people and growing to 200+ over next year) I do not hold a degree in Human Resources or equivalent but hold relevant certs/quals, backed by 8 years of experience in TA and generalist HR. Does the community feel it’s beneficial to enrol in an MBA program (MBA HR Management for example) at this point in my career?

For me the hardest part of cpa, that i am used to having a study buddy (i can study for hours and yet i wont lose focus) and i hate studying alone (i get easily distracted)

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

I am currently working on my MBA in a professional evening and weekend program at a highly accredited university. I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? I will make a little money interning in the summer, so that would be a safety valve if I blow through the 20k.

Or… should I take a small loan?
