If we analyze our military incursions in the world, we entered Vietnam and Afghanistan, and in neither of them, we have done very well. We have had many casualties, and they say that this is normal in a war. I think we have a problem with military planning, who thinks the same?

I absolutely think we have a problem with our military planning. Our casualties in both Vietnam and Afghanistan are proof of that. We need to rethink how we plan our military interventions so that we can be more successful in the future.

I completely agree that our military planning is flawed. We've gone into Vietnam and Afghanistan with little idea of what we're doing, and it's cost us a lot in terms of lives and resources.

We need to rethink our strategy and make sure that we're actually doing something constructive in these wars, rather than just causing more harm. I'm worried with what's going on with Russia the US will get involved in more conflicts.

Yes, there seems to be a problem with military planning. Our interventions in both countries you mention were disasters, and cost us many lives. I hope that we can learn from our mistakes and create a better plan for future military interventions.

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

Do you have a set $ you save every month? I'm 27, I've been tracking spend since 2020 and my $ saved has very strong variances MoM. It's not affecting my overall saving % (was 46%) but wondering if I should try to even it out a bit more?
