Yeah they should remove contractors as they don’t really get the accenture processes and think employees are like them dedicated to a certain account which doesn’t really help but add pressure sometimes.
Sometimes it’s about very specific requirements for example clearances, nationality (I.e. has to be sole British national) or very specific experience even related to project management that we just don’t have. Also on some occasions I’ve seen it done for relationships I.e. the contractor has a great relationship with a particular client we are trying to gain favour with. More reason than CCI but even then it can be knackered by a markup
This is BS! I’ve seen some just doing random project management and pricing which internal staff can do and getting paid more than 150k!
It's easier to get rid of contractors. And there are no benefits, no bank holiday pay so overall it's not as steep for the firm as the comp different sounds.
Contractors are better for CCI although you shouldn't hire any if there's a bench to tap into. I think there's going to be a tightening on contractors
