Billing hours to client be like...

Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC bangalore rescinding an offer given the current market condition? The role in my offer letter seems to be pretty generic and during interviews, it didn't look like, they were interviewing for a particular project or team. I have doubts specifically because of HR's behaviour during the whole recruitment process where they never responded to my emails or calls. Is this normal practice?

Normal to me. I am in ENR.
Second year Corp associate here. I'm writing a T&C for a client's SaaS subscription. The partner sent me THIRTEEN precedents that were almost, but not totally, completely different. It took me 8.5 hours to draft.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

Love when it’s the fourth turn and they decide they no longer like their comment from the first turn two days ago
Working from a not-great/confusing template is one of my absolute least favorite things in our work. I’d rather draft my own ground up than that.

I love it when clients hire lawyers and then try to do the lawyering themselves. If the client suggestions are that bad maybe just try to capture what they wanted to cover but use your own language. I’ve done that before and explains that we pulled language from another precedent from another client which we think will provide them more coverage. Usually the client ends up liking it because they feel like they’re getting something extra since it’s from another client
Drafting takes forever, especially when you have unclear or confusing comments you are trying to incorporate. I find it is far more efficient to have a 30 minute call with the client to walk through their comments, concerns, and general outcomes they are trying to achieve with the document as it really cuts down on the time I have so spend guessing as to wtf their comments mean.
Normal. Until you’ve had a lot of experience drafting and the words just come to your head based on previous experience or you’re able to recall a specific prior agreement that you did that has this language, If you want to produce top notch WP then it most certainly takes a lot of time and digging to find language that is appropriate and applicable that has also been used in prior agreements that are similar. Pro tip, sometimes I google keywords or phrases in quotes to find good language that fits what I’m looking for (and then I’ll search our internal system for similar firm-approved language)
