A man in the office is clearly sexists, he is openly dismissive and disparaging. He is a bully to everyone and bulldozes every collaborative session. Everyone I’ve talked to agrees he’s a problem (men and women) and many actively avoid working with him because of his tantrums. Many just agree with him to avoid the backlash. His management thinks highly of him as a “disrupter getting things done”. I don’t know how to work nicely with him and nothing is being done! Help

You can’t work nicely with him. Just be professional. Calmly professional. Record and document his infractions.
And most of all, do not engage. Document. But do not engage.

If he bullies everyone then he is not a sexist, he hates everybody equally regardless of gender

OP - I think the climate of the country has changed and is making people like this. I feel more comfortable, letting their darker demons reign. 😫

That sounds incredibly tough, especially when leadership mistakes toxic behaviour for “drive.” If you haven’t already, start documenting specific incidents and patterns, then escalate through HR or a trusted senior. You deserve a safe, respectful environment, no one should have to tolerate bullying disguised as passion!

When I was managing consulting projects, I told my teams that they should feel free to communicate with me if they had any issues or concerns. However, I also wanted their ideas about what they would do to solve the issue they are raising.

Situations can get "extreme," or small issues may arise when you are in the heat of the moment trying to accomplish your goals. That's normal.

But to change the pattern and prevent Burnout, you need to communicate with an action.

Hi all, I’m looking to learn about how one can transition from PwC AC to PwC India.
I joined PwC AC Bangalore as a fresher and have been working here for 13 months.
I was randomly assigned to SAP, but I’ve realised I really want to move away from this and move towards what I originally planned on pursuing i.e. data analysis, I was already well versed in ML and DL with python.
If anyone has made a similar transition, it would be great if you could help me understand how do I go about this.

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

Thank you for your help and any additional thoughts!

I've gotten the Deloitte D launch orientation survey. Me start date is on the 16th (less than 2 weeks). I've emailed BI onboarding twice, called my recruiter asking if they are ok with background/employment verification check and I've not gotten a response. I need to put in my 2 week notice and all my recuiter has said is I can push your start date out. Has anyone been thru this ? Does getting the D launch orientation email imply everything is good with background/employment checks
