Thanks KPMG 1! I've been burning over 100% at PwC. Might as well move and make more money!

Come to Deloitte federal advisory for more money and big signing bonus!

Haha nah no chance. My client is 8 miles from my house. I’ve had Uncle D on my tail for the past 2 years but I’m not going to Langley.

You leaving or did something else happen?

Leaving off to Uncle D. I felt now is the time to go before PwC closes the deal

Cleared position with Uncle D? If so I know a fair number of people on those teams. They seem to be enjoying their time but be warned, the one thing they have told me is utilization is a very large focus on their teams, moreso than the P Dubbers I work with. Best of luck though!

I'll join you; I've been burning at over 100% for three consecutive years!

Damn really? The guys I work with come in high 80%s from what they tell me.

Campus associates have required utilization rate of 88%. Experienced and Senior Associates have required utilization rate of 90%.

Yeah I work with seniors mostly so 90% is probably theirs. Shit mine is like 93% in audit though.

Ah ok

Would you move?

I have a good relationship with my boss but I find he doesn't take the time to develop me. I ofcourse ask for more all the time but I find we make a plan but it never falls through. We have a standing Monday morning meeting where we go through our week and plan. He's cancelled the last three meetings. We don't even have a standing 1:1 in the calendar. As mentioned before I have a good relationship with him but perhaps not a good working relationship

Moving to Chicago from Boston at the end of the month! Signed a lease in River North at WPE. Any tips for getting acclimated, dos and don’ts? This is my first move and although I’m excited, I’m a little nervous to be in a brand new city. For context 29 F.

Hi all, my first post here. What do y'all think of Google response to the pandemic? I've been pretty happy with it myself though I can think of potential improvement...

Curious thoughts: What would you say puts the most pressure on insurance companies to settle cases? Upcoming trial, risk of bad faith exposure, a bad witness, a screw up pre-suit, etc?

I live above a restaurant that BLARES music (floor is vibrating to the point I'm nauseous) but all within 7AM-10PM by law in NYC. But it's starting to get weird when they pause their music to listen to my conversations and I can hear them at 4AM prepping. I live in a 200 sq ft. studio and there is no where for me to escape to. NY has a "right to quiet enjoyment" statute that if a reasonable person would be disturbed, the landlord must fix it (see next)

Just bought 3k shares of Clover as a long term play. Stock is way underpriced due to the Hindenburg report. I’m not a financial advisor but definitely bullish.

What’s your opinion: Is it realistic to expect M&A tax work to be confined to working hours and setting boundaries with managers?

Anyone here from Deloitte? I heard they give $20K bonuses for TS/SCI.... sounds false

I wouldn't believe 20k but probably a huge bonus as TS/SCI is hard to get
