Is it a good idea to leave Accenture AI and join MBB's Analytics wing?

Hi all! I’m talking to someone tomorrow on the team for a role I’m super keen on. Luckily enough (not sure If this is good timing) when I reached out to them a few weeks ago and confirmed the time for us to connect, a job in their area opened up a few days later. I’m super keen on trying to push my application and ask about the role (already applied but without a referral :() How would you approach the conversation? I’m a little intimidated since it’s at a hot tech company and they’re MBB.

How would you describe the difference between ATK and an MBB or Big Firm?

For MBB, how likely is it that your final round case comes from the interviewer’s areas of expertise?

How do non-generalists roles at MBB compare with generalist/BA roles? Roles like digital/implementation/data /research analysts.

If my goal is m7 MBA->MBB, should I work for a no-name IB or a lower tier MC? I am heading towards a Tier 3+ consulting firm (think Capgemini, Guidehouse, Huron, etc.) this summer after graduation. A boutique IB (~20 ppl, small trans. size but good deal flow) recently reached out for an interview. They rejected me last fall but now want to hire more analyst. IB comp is def much higher. I had IB internship before, but recruited for management consulting for traveling and broader experience.

I have an offer for a position at a boutique/T2 consulting firm (level equivalent to post-MBA role). I also just got accepted to INSEAD/LBS and would like to shoot for a role at MBB after graduation. The offer is for a rather niche area of consulting and I'm worried that I'm cornering myself if I take the offer and that I'll have to get my MBA eventually anyway if I want to pivot out. But I could also jump right into a post-MBA role right now. Should I take the job offer or go to school?
