A small fund extended a generous offer to me this week. They're growing, and I like the team, but they don't have much of a track record yet. Since I've only worked at larger firms, I'm wondering if going smaller is a terrible career move. I'm trying not to overthink things, but I'm also trying not to ruin my career.

numbers? how generous?

how small?

depends on the track record, is it a new fund or is it a few years old with few deals?

going to a smaller fund likely means for ownership, you may not get the “brand name” but if you already have it and go to a place where you’re running the process more it could be a great move

agreed with this

Fund size and comp? Both matter a lot to justify an answer

Is your firm treating 12/26 and 12/27 as firm holiday since the 24th and the 25th are during the weekend this year? Of course client demands would dictate whether people will be working, but curious what the official policy is. For what it’s worth, my firm treated the day after thanksgiving as holiday and I didn’t have to work for the whole day.

Weekly Hot take. Accessibility=/= easy mode. I know it would take alot more time and resources to develop but more games sould come with accessibility features like color blind mode and maybe a bullet time for jumps. I am not a person with disabilities but i believe Celeste did a pretty good job at adding some of these features. I know it's hard to account for every type of disability but we can at least start with the most common ones.
