Got a really nice referral, got interviewed, and haven’t heard back. The anxiety is kinda getting to me because this job can be a huge break for me. I’m a great fit and have the right credentials and all. How do you guys deal with the stress of losing an opportunity or getting rejected?

Hello all, So i interviewed for amazon 2 months ago for the Associate IT support II position and I passed the interview but i was inclined meaning someone else got the position for the location. Amazon said they will keep my resume for 6 months and if there is another location open with the same position, I should apply and I would not need to Interview anymore. well several positions have been open and i have applied and also contacted the that recruiter but no reply. I Need Help @Amazon

I applied and got a position for aws . I got an offer and asked some questions. I didn't get a reply, from multiple individuals. Two weeks later received a phone call that my recruiter was let go and I was in limbo essentially, they said they'd get in touch with me closer to the timeline we discussed and they were sorry about the mixup. I called back the person to get more information (since I was running errands) and nothing again. No response and no other way to contact this person. Ideas?

Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. It’s now been a week and both recruiters have been unresponsive. Did I just lose this offer bc I tried to negotiate a more equitable comp pack, or is it a slow process?

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?
