After 18 months of silence following my termination from Kotak Mahindra Bank on 15 Nov 2024, I am still seeking a fair hearing and answers. Despite repeated emails, calls, and requests, I was never given a meaningful opportunity to present my defence or review the allegations against me. What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?

I know the pay at Jackson Lewis is subpar, but is anyone at JL and happy there? I understand this is also probably office specific but am curious about culture and vibe.

Anyone have with recent experience interviewing/hiring with FP? Most of what I found online is from pre-covid but it sounds like things might have changed a bit.

How did you choose this area of law? How do you know when it's time to move to a different one?
