I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

I had an interview w/ the Hiring Manager at Boston Consulting Group for a position and it went so well that the HM said on the spot I was going to be moving onto the next round. Its been weeks since that interview & I've had to follow up w/ the recruiter 3x asking for an update. I mentioned interviewing elsewhere but prioritizing BCG. He finally responded to that saying he was going to debrief with the HM and get back to me but nothing... what gives?

I get excited when I receive and sign the offer letter.
When you are receiving a real screening and you make it to the hiring manager! You have a screening that should say something 🙌 You will knock it out of the park!
I’ve been through finals 3 times with no offer so I try to not get excited about anything

I say celebrate your wins whenever you can. The journey is long and bumpy.
Congratulations! I've been trying for a year so you're doing great! I don't get excited about screens anymore, but I'm jaded as a recruiter myself. I save my emotions for when an offer comes through.
Congrats! I agree with many of the comments even though they vary.
Definitely celebrate a bit on the small wins but try not to get too excited. This Market is brutal. I've made it to final rounds with no offers, and that's after about 4 or 5 interviews (some with multiple people panels), and I think I have done amazingly, only to get a generic rejection email in the end. So my best advice is to try not to get too high and not too low. And definitely try not to make any sense out of it all of it. Because nothing in this market makes sense.
But you're in the first step and that's something so, definitely reason to have hope!
Hoping the best for all of us. 🙏🏻
When you receive a firm offer & start date.
At first contact, I always feel hope at that stage.
Are you willing to work remotely?
If I get the feeling that they like me, haha.
Anyway, I'm happy for you! Great to see an initial payoff no matter how little.
