Is there a professional/respectful way to decline a take home case study that doesn't automatically disqualify you from the candidate pool?

Thank you for your time and this opportunity. I believe I've given all the inputs that I could and won't be able to allocate more of my personal time for new interviews/case studies/etc at this stage. If one of your team leaders would like to get on a 30-minute call, I'll be happy to walk them through my critical thinking process. Being an experienced (position) in the (industry type) Industry, I have to be very strict on how I spend my time to maximize the ROI I create. I believe this exercise is not a good ROI for my time for your company and me.

I don't see why other candidates have to do it but you don't... unless you're that much of a baller and you can prove yourself in other ways. Best to suggest an alternative approach

So I finished my 3rd interview with a company and the TA specialist said they loved me but can’t meet me at my bottom line salary, however, I said I can negotiate and she said she’s going to speak with the decision makers and see if they’re okay with that. What does this mean? This is for a marketing specialist role. I’m asking for $70K bottom line

How would you approach an interview process where the company sounds exciting but you feel confident the role would not be a growth opportunity for your skill set? Random, but valid/persistent thought.

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?

Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. What is going on with recruiters? I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but not even an email back saying “something came up” or “we’ve moved on” ? I’ve been ghosted after every final interview during my recent job search, but never had I been ghosted before even having the first call??

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you
