Where do you usually invest your year-end bonus?

Hello I am currently interviewing at Deloitte for a position as Oracle Test lead. What level and compensation should I aim for?

After my first HR round the recruiter decided to speak with seniors and find out if they will consider me for a senior position. (This took 2 weeks)

I had two technical round, at the end of the second round I was told that someone else also needs to also take your interview. (This tools 3 weeks)

HR to decide who will this person be.

It's been two weeks since my last interview. Still waiting to heard back from the Reciter. It's this normal? What should I do next?

I have been offered 17 lpa fixed+ 75k joining bonus from PwC kolkata with current ctc 13.08 lpa in tcs. Recently I got a promotion and ctc increased to 15.03 lpa and I shared the promotion letter with pwc. They said I will get a call for offer discussion again. Could anyone tell if pwc will really revise the offer and how long will it take? How much ctc should I ask for?

In job negotiations, what are some realistic non-salary/bonus things that can be negotiated? I’ve read ppl negotiate vaca days, but will a large company really give 1 person extra? What else?

Recommendation for a tax person to help with complicated taxes - husband and I lived in NJ for part of 2021, he worked remotely for an nyc and then Long Island co., I worked in NJ and for a MA firm. We also both took parental leave and taxes weren’t taken out of some of that pay. Also, need child credit for said child who the IRS doesn’t know about yet.

What is work-life balance like in big tech legal? I’m currently in house at a large multinational; I like my job and I get paid fine, with a very good WLB (40-45 hrs). I want to look into FAANG-type opportunities as they would mean a huge pay bump, and I think I’m qualified, but I have no idea about the hours, and I don’t want to substantially give up WLB, as that’s why I left BigLaw. I am a middle school social studies teacher and my husband is a high school art teacher. He has been an art teacher for a very long time and he’s not super proficient with Google classroom but I am. I have been helping him with lesson online resources & creating hyper docs for the lessons. I interviewed for a real estate customer service manager at Prologis last week Tuesday. Interview was scheduled for 1 hour. I was with them for 2 hours. I was shown around the office and introduced to a few employees as well. On Thursday I received and email from the recruiting department to submit 5 references. All of my references completed the reference by Saturday afternoon. How long should I wait until I send them a follow up email??
