Ah the Geico-ification of State Farm

Hello Guys,

Currently I am working as People Partner (Human Resource) with Byju's at Kolkata office and I am actively looking to shift to Bangalore.
I tried applying almost everywhere but no luck yet.

It would be really helpful if anyone can refer me in their respective organisation for any role in the HR domain.

Last week I had an interview with Infosys, it didn't go well as per my expectations but i was able to answer most of the questions asked by the panel and they said I will get the feedback from HR team but it's been more than one week and I didn't get any update on this. Yesterday I also wrote an email to the HR who scheduled the interview but still no update.

Should I consider that I am not being selected?

Hello anyone reading this! I wanted to ask for any realistic, recommended job positions from someone with more knowledge and experience. I am graduating this December with my BBA and am ready to leave the job I’m in now. I’ve been applying for a range of positions I qualify for and nothing so far, which I expected. I have 3 years of experience in management operations but also have 6 years of experience with child care, is that why I may be getting rejected? Maybe I’m overthinking my resume? 😅

Most HRs these days ask for previous salary slips/ bonus/hike letters without even quoting their offer. Should we proceed with what they want? Is it ethical? Any pros/cons

I am thinking beyond just verifying if the candidate is not lying on the current salary but what if they don't even have the budget to what the candidate has asked as expectation.

I'm reading this book on boundaries. In the work section it says I should tell my boss that I can't work after 5 PM. Knowing that advertising work commonly goes past 5 PM...would my job be in danger if I said that?
There's not really a rule book that says I must work until the work is done even though it's an unsaid expectation. Thoughts?

I can't help but feel that my current 'Digital Managing Partner' job title is a little too niche when it comes to LinkedIn job/resume keyword relevance, particularly outside of a media agency environment. How do I be a decent manager to a coworker who's upset I've been promoted twice in two years and they haven't? We started out as coworkers, became decent friends after a few good moments, but went back to simply coworkers after they flubbed a few projects and I had to step in to clean up.
