Am I a nerd? Yes. Do I like whiskey? Also yes. Does this mean I ordered the special edition Assassins creed 15 anniversary bourbon? 100% sure did. Will it be terrible….I’ll let you know 🤣

Honestly... There's only two distilleries that I know of that could have produced 4 yr bourbon in the hill country of Texas and that's Garrison brothers or Milam & Greene. Both are solid and sell at above $70 bottle

We'll M&Gs distilled stuff is closer to $40 but still solid

AC is my jam. Let us know how it tastes

I've been in manual testing for 80% of my career. Despite attempts to transfer into a more code-centric role, I never got the opportunity to do so. Now that I'm in a management role, I feel like it's too late to enhance my programming skills.

Suppose I want to transition into a developer role, will self-study be sufficient for passing the necessary requirements for coding jobs? Lately, I've been learning python and using what I learned by solving problems at leetcode.

Manhattan Drinkers. Time to make your own cherries while they are fresh. Get you favorite inexpensive bourbon (4 Roses Yellow Label for me), pit the cherries and soak them in bourbon for a week. The essentially are pickled and will keep a long time in the fridge.

Legent is tasty! This bourbon is finished in red wine and sherry casks, and blended by Suntory Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo - who has experience with truly legendary distilleries Hakushu and Yamazaki. A bourbon with noticeable fruit, caramel, and vanilla elements — and a very good bourbon for $40 at Total Wine. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

Tried Calumet Farm bourbon tonight and was not at all impressed. If you see it, don’t waste your $$$.

It’s an 80s-range bourbon in terms of proof but for the price, I’ve found 90s-range proof bourbon with much better flavor served neat.
