Any folks who work for a US Tech company, are any of you considering the move to UK/European Tech? Or if you have done so, what are the pro's/con's?
My company is a merger of 4 tech companies under 1 umbrella (2 US, 1 Israel & 1 UK company), their HQ is in America, and is heavily US-centric in culture & workforce. With the Iran war, plus the other things that I personally don't support re US-Israel, I've been wondering if there are more job opportunities opening up in European Tech?

We are a firm of 5 transactional attorneys and the bonus structure is very unclear. The usual “based on personal performance and firm profitability” language. I wonder how this is calculated in general. What is the percentage bracket of the bonus? Assume it is a high performance 9+ year attorney and the firm is profitable (even with COVID). The based salary is low $120k. Firm is in Tx. I’d love to hear your comments.

I completed the last round of an interview (presentation) last week. Originally they said they would be calling my references & then make an offer accordingly.
Today they updated that they'd like me to travel to their HQ (based in Nordics & I'm in London) for the final round where I'd meet the CEO, the hiring manager and a couple of people in the team.
I don't think I'm the only one in the process - even though initially the last round was the presentation.
What are your thoughts?
