As of now, there is some relief for Zee since NCLAT has directed both the stock exchanges to reassess the approvals.
Answering your question about how this will impact the employees.
1. There might be layoffs since they would be merging various entities and restructuring will happen as per the needs.
2. It would be great for the company since they will become the market leader combining the number of channels Zee and Sony operate in all the major categories like Zee and Sony.
3. The merger will take some time internally and might create some chaos and confusion and mostly the budgets will be reduced in order to reduce the overall cost to make P&L look good.

Is sticking up for yourself even worth it? My boss is always on my ass as if I’m constantly missing, or about to miss, deadlines. I’ve never missed one. I’ve received the same damn lecture/email about monitoring all case deadlines a hundred times. I always just professionally explain that we’re not about to miss any and discuss the progress. Well, I’ve about had it and am ready to go off. I’m sick of basically being told that I’m not doing my job. How should I address this issue?
