Anyone have any affordable case management software recommendations? I’m looking for something a bit non-traditional as I work for a small nonprofit. How do y’all deal with people at work who are stuck on stupid? Like they have no idea what they’re talking about and they REFUSE to learn. It’s like they have a god complex or something even with proof, maybe bc of their tenure at the company? Even if there’s valid data backing up that they’re wrong. Question on travel during H1B lottery-

I am hoping to travel in August for something I have been interested for a while. The H1B lottery company however suggested that I don't travel between April and Oct. Can someone walk me through the possible scenario if I get the lottery in round 1 vs round 2?

If I get it in round 1, good chance I will be able to travel in Aug? (Petition out in Mar/Apr, should be done by Aug?)

If I get it in round 2, is it possible to file the petition in mid Aug?

I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..
