🤔 did she say this to you ABOUT them or to THEM to their face. I don’t condone either scenario, but if she said it in confidence to you, she may have just been trying to build relationship/bond with you. For some people, nothing bonds more than a common enemy.

This person said nothing to them, this was said in a private conversation with me. I believe you are right & thank you for that insight. The 2 individuals spoken about were my former HRBPs before I moved into HR. Mainly I do not want this colleague to believe I condone that type of behavior, no matter how junior I may be

My firm was recently acquired and compensation is unchanged. For context, I’m at the engagement manager level with the organization that was acquired, and with the NewCo, the coverage and responsibility is likely increasing. In this future state I’d effectively be managing more engagements. Can anyone offer Do’s/Don’ts for approaching and navigating comp renegotiations? Are EY raises based on a percentage or a flat $ amount? Going through the Big4Transparency site and I’ll be a Staff 2 making more than many B4 Seniors 1 and 2 in same/ similar service line and similar COL cities. A little nervous that I won’t get raises or will get very small raises. (I start in 2 months so I don’t have any performance goals yet). Also they offered me a base salary that was already at the top of the salary range but I negotiated for higher and it was accepted.
