Any insights around senior marketing jobs situation in the UK right now? I get the interviews but I always seem to lose on the third/final stage. Feedback is always very positive (in the past I would get the specific 'no experience here etc but these days it seems that it is just a ghost type of reason)! Is ageing infiltrating marketing? Is there a trend with going for cheaper candidates? I noticed that the salary expectations is now a compulsory field in the job app!

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I have a question for people in recovery. If a brand were to contend that sobriety is a spectrum, or allow for that to a least be part of the conversation, how does that make you feel? Are other brands doing a good job of being inclusive of people who are truly sober?
(I get that NA drinks / spirits can be triggering for people in recovery)
