Why is it so hard to find a remote HR position? I have my SHRM-SCP, my MBA and over 10 years of experience being an HR Manager.

A lot of companies want an HR Manager/Director who can be physically present to connect with employees, handle emergencies, counsel behavior issues, conduct investigations, etc. in person. It's not an unreasonable expectation depending on the rest of the workforce. You'll have to find a company where all roles are remote (or at least the majority of them) so that top leadership is ok with a remote HR position.

I would target large companies and/tech companies. Plenty of remote HR roles.

Location and industry?

Indianapolis, IN.
Any industry. I have past experiences in banking, manufacturing, HVAC engineering & building technology

Have you searched on LinkedIn and indeed? I’ve seen remote HR jobs there

Yes but most are not truly remote. They are hybrid or want you to live in a certain city or state.

Accounting/CPA have always had a high turnover rate over the years. In response, these firms have raised salaries (for current and new employees), offered sign on bonuses, and have embraced working from home options. What else can accounting firms do to address high turnover rates to encourage workers to stay since most people start looking to exit these firms at the 2-3 year point while working there?

To make job referrals easier, I am making a sticky thread where job seekers can post what roles they're looking for and people who have openings in their organisation can post their requirements as well.

This will make it easier to browse through all the available opportunities in a single thread.

Please feel free to post job referral related questions, opportunities, etc under this pinned post.

Is Infosys HRs really dumb, they are continuously posting on LinkedIn that they are hiring for Infosys. It has been more than 60 days and my profile is still showing the Schedule Interview.

I tried to reach close to 9-10 HRs and they are not responding to my messages on LinkedIn.

One HR will post anything related to hiring and immediately in next 2 minutes you'll see a bunch of replies from Infosys HR like #hiring, #hiring2022,
#infosyshiring.

I began a new position 2 months ago and took on a managerial position where I oversee a team and a week ago, my manager and I was discussing a delay that happened and how she gave my team feedback and suddenly she said to me that she doesn’t mind restructuring the team and make it a team where everyone reports to her. She also said that the only reason she is “allowing” me to lead is to gain management experience. I was shocked because I got hired as an experienced manager. What would you do?
