I’m worry that I still have like 45 years more to be retired and can’t stop working because I have a f* mortgage to pay 😭 I have a super ergonomic workstation, but I know my hand needs a long rest, and I can’t do it… Does anyone relate? Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

It is true that in service based consultings the learning curve will be better coz we'll get to work on a lot of projects compared to a captive organisation ?
