I recently started at HubSpot as an account executive covering SMB. I’m finishing up training and a Salesforce recruiter reached about a job opening doing pretty much the same thing. Salesforce was near the top of my list of prospective companies. Curious if anyone has experience working there and would recommend it over HubSpot?

I’ve very fortunate to have a new job. I wanted WFH, but I guess it wasn’t in the cards. Do you think people who work from home are that much happier?

An offer HSBC is in pipeline ( 28 fixed as per Recruitment consultant). Position offered is Senior consultant specialist.
However I know that there is scope of pushing the offer till 36. Any inputs on getting the offer to desired figure would be helpful.

Contemplating a career switch into consulting as I want to go non-technical. I don't want to pay 250k for ivy league MBA. I have a MS in computer engg from a top 5 engineering school. 7YOE at a top 3 semiconductor as ML/AI engineer.

I can get 300+ maybe up to 400-450k TC in FAANG but not liking technical stuff anymore.

Do you think aiming for MBB for a Management Consulting[tech domain] role is a stretch given I have no consulting background? What kind of compensation can I expect?

I try to do side-projects in my free time to improve my coding skills. However, I rarely stay motivated to finish them. How do you motivate yourselves to build technical skills in your free time?

I am currently working mostly in Data Analytics, but I want to transition into Data Engineering. I've applied to a couple Data engineer positions but it seems I don't have the qualifications for them. Should I maybe look for Jr. Data Engineer positions to get experience and try to move up from there? If so anybody know of any Jr. Data Engineer positions available?

How is Persistent in terms of Appian projects? Does it have good development projects in Appian and what are the chances of growth?

Has anyone used a tutor or a specific company for 1 on 1 expedited training specifically for another license? Need to take a new license quickly and would like to find 1 on 1 help.

How do referrals work?
If I get a referral from someone and I apply, then can I still reach out to a recruiter on LinkedIn expressing interest in the role? And do I let them know that I already applied? I’m sure they get tons of messages so what should I say so that it won’t be overlooked?Im currently unemployed and very eager to get an entry level position in either HR, Marketing, or Project/Program Coordinator in the tech field, so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer. Hey Guys, I have applied to Accenture through their Accenture India portal and it's still showing pending review and my interview hasn't been scheduled yet. as I checked found out that pending review means the Application has been passed from HR to the operations team what should I do now as it's been more than 4 weeks and I haven't received any response from them and there is no way to contact them.i am getting a little frustrated about this
